Terms & Conditions

Parties are confirmed on a 'first come, first served' basis and are subject to availability. Parties cannot be confirmed without timings and a venue in place. The price quoted during booking is non-negotiable. Full payment is due prior to the event date. If we have not recieved your full payment ahead of time, the performers will not be attending the event.

You are responsible for providing accurate event details (location, time, guest count, etc.).

Please ensure all pets are secured during setup and event time for the safety of our team and performers.

In the event of poor weather conditions or heavy traffic that may cause the performers to show up later than agreed upon, they will stay longer to make up for the lost time.

We provide entertainment, not babysitting, therefore our performers are not their to discipline so we ask that you stay there during the performances entirety. Legends Character Rentals is not liable for any injuries, incidents, damages, or accidents that may occur during your event. Children (and their actions) remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times.

You may request a specific performer of ours for your event, but if they are unavailable, we will send out one of equally talented performers instead to still make your event magical.

If our performer feels unsafe or is being verbally or physically abused they have the right leave the event at their discretion and no refunds will be given. This includes but is not limited to sexual remarks, groping, unwanted physical touch, and shouting/verbal assault.

Please try to have an area with a decent amount of space for activities, superhero training, and dance parties to take place in. Area should not be muddy/wet, and should be at a reasonable temperature. If it is too cold out during the winter months or too hot during the summer, it is up to our performers discretion for the enjoyment of everyone to move the activities indoors.

Face Painting/Glitter Tattoo Disclaimer - Legends Character Rentals uses professional high end face paint, but each individuals skin reactivity is different and Legends Character Rentals will not be held liable if skin reaction occurs. Face Painters reserve the right to refuse to paint anything deemed inappropriate, and will not paint anybody who does not want to be face painter. Soap and Warm water can be used to remove face paint and oil-based makeup remover or rubbing alcohol for glitter tattoos.

Travel Fees - All bookings outside of city limits will be subject to a travel fee of $1 per kilometre from the city (one way). If further than 1 hour, there will be an additional $10 per hour in the car per performer charged to cover travel time.

Cancellation Policy - If you cancel 2 days or more prior to the event, you will get a 50% refund, cancelling 2 days or less before the event doesn't qualify for a refund but we can reschedule free of charge for up to 3 months.

Priority Fee - If an event is less than a week away or is requiring a lot of additional work into planning the event, we may require an additional fee to accomodate.
